| About ADG Founder... IFENDU A. NNANNA, Ph.D. is Founder and President at AgResources Development Group,
LLC (ADG). He is a technical management professional with entrepreneurial acumen, and an innovation strategist with
over 20 years experience in value-added food research, technology development, product development, and functional food
ingredients. His expertise is in ingredient technologies, fiber-based/protein-based innovations, and nutritional products. Prior to founding ADG, Dr. Nnanna was Director of Research and Development at Proliant Corporation, a protein ingredients
company in Iowa, where he was instrumental in developing and commercializing a broad range of protein ingredients for the
global food marketplace. Dr. Nnanna came to Proliant from Monsanto Corporation (Agricultural Biotechnology Company in Missouri)
where he was a Research Leader in the Dairy Business Unit. Prior to Monsanto, he was an educator/an Assistant Professor of
food chemistry at Wayne State University in Michigan. He has experience in international business
development in selected Asia-Pacific, African, European and Latin American markets. Dr. Nnanna broad range of experience have
provided him with the unique ability to quickly identify and integrate agribusiness and research & development processes
in order to create sustainable, economic growth, food security, and products that deliver healthy nutrition to a global community.
Dr. Nnanna research interests are in functional food ingredients as related to nutrition and
disease prevention. He has authored and co-authored numerous professional and technical publications in food science and nutrition.
Dr. Nnanna holds a B.S. degree in Food Science & Technology from Alabama A&M University; M.S. and Ph.D. degrees
in Food Science from the University of Georgia. He earned minors in Animal Science, Nutrition, Biochemistry, respectively.
